It just didn't settle as well as other books like this. And, yeah, the art - not for me.Thoughts of Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572910467988997432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31208059.post-58517306527116793652008-11-05T09:49:00.000-05:002008-11-05T09:49:00.000-05:00Sorry you didn't end up liking these so much. I've only read the first one though, we'll see what I think when I read the rest.tanabatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04592550784537825632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31208059.post-90472079954289644452008-11-04T21:49:00.000-05:002008-11-04T21:49:00.000-05:00Mary ~ I hope you do.Bonnie ~ I love journals, dia...Mary ~ I hope you do.

Bonnie ~ I love journals, diary, letter style books, too. That was the best part of the books! There are a few children's series that use letters like this one did - I absolutely love them. I'm not sure if these are really considered "graphic novels", but I saw them labeled that somewhere. :)Thoughts of Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572910467988997432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31208059.post-47861594217535087902008-11-04T21:14:00.000-05:002008-11-04T21:14:00.000-05:00Joy,I read these books when they first came out. Also, my cousin's name is Sabine and we both read them and were drawn to that connection.
I am fond of journal, diary, letter style books and that is another reason I enjoyed these books. I never thought of them as graphic novels, that makes sense!Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06838832109510581167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31208059.post-76008909138234278172008-11-04T16:55:00.000-05:002008-11-04T16:55:00.000-05:00Hmm. The fact that they are typically short and easy to read was the final push. I figured too much time wouldn't be wasted if I didn't like it/them. Seriously, there are only a few that I haven't liked. I have been pleasantly surprised.Thoughts of Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572910467988997432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31208059.post-9151856161498518312008-11-04T12:17:00.000-05:002008-11-04T12:17:00.000-05:00I'm just not curious enough to check graphic novel...I'm just not curious enough to check graphic novels out.
