~*~ CALLING ALL READERS ~*~

After visiting Bookfoolery and Babble's post, I just couldn't hold back any longer. I know Caribousmom who has compiled reading challenges at A Novel Challenge is going to think I'm out of my mind, along with my friend from Blogging My Books, but I just HAVE to do this and hope that you will join me in:

The YOUNG ADULT Challenge!

I'm thinking that this challenge will be very similar to the First in a Series Challenge, if not exact, but I'll get back with you on the specifics, including a button and Mister Linky to sign up. I just HAD to share my excitement.

I have to admit, I don't have many titles lined up for this one; however, many, many bloggers are reading them, so we should get an influx of great titles. Woo Hoo! I hope you'll start thinking of a YA list and join in on the fun. :)

So, what do you think?

  2. Joy - I am relatively new to the blogosphere of reading and challenges. I have completed the Newbery challenge and am ongoing with the Newbery project. Believe me there is loads of interest out there for this - I am sure you will attract many like minded readers! Just today I have got Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi out of my library - it is a cartoon aimed at the YA world. I will share the Challenge!

  3. A YA challenge would be great and fairly easy, since YA books are quick to read. I'd love to hear the specifics on this one!

  4. What a terrific idea, Joy!! I love YA novels. Some are so good that it pains me to see them set apart from the general fiction sections.

Susan ~ You are so right! YA's are quick reads making this a very easy challenge. The even better news for us is that quick and easy doesn't mean lame.

Bookfool ~ Thanks for the inspiration. :)
