  1. Great list. I've read the Richardson and Toews books and enjoyed both. You've also got a few there that I'm completely unfamiliar with. Looking forward to see what you think of them.

  2. I enjoy Peter Robinson! I didn't know he was Canadian. Just looked him up in Contemporary Authors.

  3. John ~ Oh good, it's always nice to hear positive reviews. I'm looking forward to my reads.

Terri B. ~ I've been wanting to start Robinson's series for quite a while now - I just haven't got to it yet. I'm hoping this challenge will help to get the book in my hands!

  4. Joy,

I think that you would really enjoy both A complicated Kindness and Sweetness in the Belly.

  5. Teddy Rose ~ Thank you! That's very encouraging. :) I never really considered ACK, but SitB has been on my list since it came out. Woo Hoo!

The last time I checked you didn't have a list. Did I miss it or haven't you made one up yet?

  6. I really want to do this one--especially since I feel like I'm neglecting my roots if I don't. But I just don't know that many Canadian authors. Grr...maybe next year. Have a great time!

  7. Trish ~ I said that last year! :) If you go to John's post about the challenge, he links the challenge participants and their reads from the first year. It's a great place to get some ideas. Also, I think it was wikipedia that I looked up 'canadian authors' and got a long list, too. You can't deny your roots!

  8. Wow, you're finished already. The only one I've read is Forty Words for Sorrow which I really liked. But I read every one of Blunt's books as they come out and love them all. I've read The Outlander and The Tenderness of Wolves too. Both excellent stories. I started late in this challenge but have done six. My problem is coming up with reviews. Love reading, hate writing reviews when I could be reading more. lol Glad I found your blog.

  9. Sandra ~ That's good to know that you've enjoyed all Blunt's books. I look forward to reading more. I still want to get to more on this list - hopefully during 2009! I'm not fond of "reviews" either, that's why mine are short and concise. Thanks for stopping by, Sandra!
