THE HOUSE AT POOH CORNER

Author: A. A. Milne
Genre: Children
Published: 1988
Personal Rating: 2/5
Yearly Count: 83

Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood are up to romping around again and Tigger is introduced to the gang.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series, but this one lost all its charm. The humor and adorable interactions were missing and the narrated voices were ridiculous. I was very disappointed this time around.

Sorry to hear you were disappointd with this one. My mum was a big fan when she was young and I have a copy to read at some point which I am loking forward to.

  2. Rhinoa ~ I listened to this and thought the ridiculous "acting" was pitiful. I focused on putting the narration aside to just listen to the stories, and they just didn't have the same appeal as the first book. Oh well.
