CROOKED HOUSE

Author:  Agatha Christie
Genre:  Mystery, Standalone
Published:  1949
Personal Rating:  3.5/5 (good)
Format:  Audiobook
Yearly Count:  39

There's been a murder in the large crooked house!  Who did it?  The pool from which to choose is substantial due to the extended family that lives there.

The whole beginning of this book was perplexing to me.  I was constantly waiting to see the tie-in, but one never came.  Obviously there was no point or anything of importance other than to set the stage.  I could have missed something along the way.  I don't know.  Anyway, the mystery was good, and it did keep me wondering, but I didn't find it gripping.  It did accomplish what I had hoped for -- kept my mind occupied as I was working on a project.  For that, I'm grateful.

    1. Staci ~ I know you did! I was hoping for the same experience, but it just didn't hit me in the same way. Still a good Christie read, though. :)
