PLAY DEAD

Author:  David Rosenfelt
Genre:  Mystery, Andy Carpenter Series #6
Published:  2007
Personal Rating:  3/5 (just okay)
Format/Narrator:  Audiobook/
Grover Gardner
Yearly Count:  60

A presumed dead dog reappears after many years and happens to be a key witness in a murder case.  Andy is determined to prove his point.

Yep, the storyline sounds a bit odd, but it turned out okay.  Usually I love Andy Carpenter, so I'm a bit disappointed that he didn't keep me fully engaged.  I think it had more to do with the storyline than anything else.  It was still an okay audioread, and I look forward to my next visit with him.

  1. I've read a couple of the Andy Carpenter books and enjoyed them. Sorry this isn't as good as some of the others.

  2. I've never heard of this author and I'll take your word for it that even though it sounds weird it works....but I wish this one was better for you!
