P. T. Barnum has purchased Jumbo the elephant from the London Zoological Society at his keeper, Matthew Scott's, dismay.

All the stories in this collection are based on truth, and I was very excited when I found out that little tidbit.  I love true stories or based on truth stories, etc.; however, after a bit of thought, I had mixed feelings about it.  If an author reads articles or books on a subject then just regurgitates the story in short order, how much of it is theirs?  To be honest, that was a fleeting thought, especially after listening to Man and Boy.  I loved this story.  I'm sure somebody else could have these facts and not deliver it in the same fashion.  So, I apologize to Emma for questioning her work.  It's her story.
