OUR SOULS AT NIGHT

Author: Kent Haruf

Personal Rating:  4.25/5 (very good +)
Format/Narrator:  Audiobook/Mark Bramhall

Addie and Louis, senior citizens and neighbors, agree to become companions to ward off loneliness.

This was a surprisingly, engaging audioread!  I loved the majority of the book and the narrator.  However . . . (why did there have to be a however?!) . . . there was a character that frustrated me beyond belief.  And, the ending . . . eh.

I have discovered that this author is no longer with us, but I'm thankful he has left me several books to read, as this one was my first.
