I didn't realize it, but I already have it on my iPod, so I'm good to go. My thought is that the "Youth" book will be filled with a lot of teenage angst. Not unusual for those years, but added with his background - yikes!

Carrie K ~ Be prepared that the first one is devastating and shocking.

Maw Books ~ See my comments above. :) Dave shares from his heart and it is very palpable. The books (his life) do inspire.Thoughts of Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572910467988997432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31208059.post-9247689745581482472008-10-14T18:39:00.000-04:002008-10-14T18:39:00.000-04:00I never gave much thought to Dave Pelzer but recen...I never gave much thought to Dave Pelzer but recently met someone who said his books were her all time favorites. I keep seeing them in the secondhand stores, so maybe one of these days I'll actually pick one up.Maw Bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09729345911368472119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31208059.post-35856150373780408732008-10-14T14:52:00.000-04:002008-10-14T14:52:00.000-04:00He sounds quite inspirational. I plan to listen to that one, too, if I can get my hands on it. The narrator was fabulous. However, I have read that it isn't necessarily as "good" as the rest, but that's okay - I'm still game.

Danielle ~ The first one is the most powerful and unbelievable, but he perseveres. :)Thoughts of Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572910467988997432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31208059.post-69383440581593513622008-10-14T08:46:00.000-04:002008-10-14T08:46:00.000-04:00I had almost all the books in this series and gave...I had almost all the books in this series and gave them away.
