ReplyDeleteHooray! Now which one to start with? I made a list of 5 you'd think I could settle on 1 to start with. I can do this, I CAN! It's that darn House of Spirits that I'm plugging away on that is clouding my brain. Yea, let's blame it on that.
ReplyDeleteJust had to say a big THANK YOU for hosting this. Thanks to you I finally started a book last night that I've been meaning to read for years!

Dang! I'm just about to finish A Brave New World (20 more pages) but alas, not on my list. (Not that it's going to stop me from posting it as a Non Fiction Challenge book......)
ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle of reading Inkheart, it's taking me awhile! Then I have a big stack of books checked out from the library waiting. After that I will read my first book for the challenge, so probably mid-late May. I can't wait to hear about what others are reading!
ReplyDeleteJust to let everyone know, I am not much of a seasoned book reviewer...I just gave an 'opinion' :)or should I say 'recommendation'.
ReplyDeleteLuckily I had a long plane ride yesterday, so was able to read my first book (Ghost Map); will be posting the review to Mr Linky soon, I hope.

ReplyDeleteThanks for adding mine Joy! I figured out why I was having trouble..the mr. linky stuff is blocked from me at work...which is usually where I do this stuff. I'm at home right now and I can see the Mr. linky stuff...so I'll just have to remember to do it from stupid dial-up at home. haha!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking care of my May book though.
I finished my first Non-fic challenge book last week. Definitely a great read, but probably not a book most people would enjoy unless they were preggers. :)
ReplyDeleteYea, I finished my first book for the challenge! Wish I would have enjoyed it more but oh well. It wasn't bad. Thanks Joy!
ReplyDeleteI finished my first book two weeks ago and have finally posted my review! Thanks for hosting this challenge. I can't wait to read my next book.

ReplyDeleteBarely but I got it done :) I'm 30 pages into the next one so should make a little better go at it.
ReplyDeletePosted my May book (finally). These non-fiction go a lot slower than fiction, but that's a good thing (it is a challenge after all).
ReplyDeleteI managed to eke out my post about my May selection before we head out for a long weekend in SC - and I'm bringing along a couple other books for this challenge. See you in June!
