Aware963 ~ Glad you liked it!
ReplyDeleteMelanie ~ Good deal!
I finished my first two. One sixth down, in other words. =)
ReplyDeleteLove ~ Great! I hope you are enjoying them. :)
ReplyDeleteI finished my first one, "Feed". It was a pretty darn good book.
ReplyDeleteMy first one is done too! If they are all this good I'll be enjoying lots of books.
ReplyDeleteI read The Girls (Lori Lansens)
Kim ~ YA seems to have very promising reads.
ReplyDeleteJuli ~ Sounds like a great start! :)
I'm catching up on the nominations for this year's Carnegie award, so plenty of material to go at.
ReplyDeleteTable Talk ~ That's great! There may be many that aren't aware of those books. Happy reading and keep linking! :)
ReplyDeleteFinished my second and well on my way to my third book. If you haven't read anything by Sharon Draper, please do so. She is a great writer and doesn't appear to have large readership.
ReplyDeletei just finished Specials by Scott Westerfeld this morning. i had originally intended on reading Specials and Extras before the end of 2007 and reading Peeps for this challenge, but ... that's how it goes. i'm enjoying Westerfeld's writing!
ReplyDeleteI finished my first book and I can only hope I like my other picks this much!
ReplyDeleteI finished my first book too...can't wait to read the others! Thanks for hosting Joy...what a nice challenge!
ReplyDeleteAware ~ Thanks for the heads-up! :)
ReplyDeleteAlison ~ It worked out anyway. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm going to read Uglies one of these days.
Nymeth ~ How great it is to have a winner! I hope your other choices are just as good.
Jill ~ I'm so glad you're enjoying your YA reading. I have liked mine, too. :)
Finished my first!
ReplyDeleteI linked it here, but I think I've also added to another one, which I think is the wrong one:P
Valentina ~ Hooray! I hope it was a good one! :)
ReplyDeleteI'll look around and see if I see this linked somewhere else and take care of it. Thanks
i finished The Giver this week - my second book for this challenge. and i've got two more coming soon (hopefully before month-end).
ReplyDeletei wanted to get a good start on my overall reading goals for 2008 and YA (and children's) books are working out well!
Alison ~ I'm working on getting as many off my challenge lists as well. However, there's one coming that doesn't fit, but I'm at the mercy of the library. :)
ReplyDeleteOne more book down! I've been finding this challenge easier than some of my others, I suppose because the books are shorter. And more fun.
ReplyDeleteKim ~ That's great news! Reading = Fun!
ReplyDeletei've posted the link to my third - Nothing but the Truth (and a Few White Lies) by Justina Chen Headley. i am really enjoying this challenge!
ReplyDeleteAlison ~ I'm so glad! I'm really enjoying it, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI just finished the seventh of my challenge reads. I've enjoyed all of mine so far (some more than others, though).
ReplyDeleteLove ~ That's great. You're cruising! :)
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity, what are the titles in English?
Som jag vill vara = As I want to be
ReplyDeleteDet fattas en tärning = There's a dice missing
I feel a little weird reading non-English books for challenges, but then I feel a little weird that Swedish makes up such a small part of my reading, so it seems I can't win either way. ;D
Love ~ Thanks for the lesson! As to what language you read ... whatever works best for you - go ahead. :)
ReplyDeleteI just added my link to Pretties by Scott Westerfeld, but wanted to add a couple of more titles of teen books I read this month also - Rembering Raquel by Vivian Vande Velde and Right Behind You by Gail Giles. Velde was good, as usual :) Giles was *excellent*. Reviews are here:

The dates to look for are Jan 24 & 25.
Tammy ~ Go ahead and add them on!
