I have really enjoyed the "Alexander" series by this author, so I thought I'd celebrate Viorst's birthday month by reading another one of her treasures.
This one was just as enjoyable. It's short, but gets the point across that Mama's sometimes make mistakes, too. It's a great book to model for children to make their own books or to share their imaginations.
I love the Alexander books, too, but I've never seen this one. Thanks, Joy...this sounds like a must for me and my little guys!
ReplyDeleteDebi ~ I never saw this one either until I was seeking out a Viorst book at the library. It was a nice find. I hope you like it too.
ReplyDeleteI love the Alexander books. We have this one here somewhere. I'll have to reread.
ReplyDeleteKay ~ It's a two minute read, but I liked it. There's actually many themes that can be pulled from it.
