ANYTHING AGATHA CHALLENGE READS:

  1. I want to thank you for offering this challenge, for it has opened up a whole world of reading for me. I've just read my first Poirot and so enjoyed it. He's a great character and I look forward to all the stories ahead of me, as well as the television versions with David Suchet.

  2. Nan ~ I am so glad it has become a successful endeavor for you. I think I read one that featured Poirot. I'm not sure at the moment. I'm further behind than I'd like to be, but I've had to finish up other challenges first. I look forward to getting back into some Agatha books.

  4. I love Agatha Christie. It started long, long ago in 8th grade when our drama class did a play adapted from one of her books. I had one of the four lead roles and it was SO fun. Since then I've been on a quest to read all her books. This was an easy challenge since I had already read several books this fall before I stumbled across the challenge. Woo hoo. Off to a good start...and only one mishap along the way...buying two of one title. Ugh! One more to go. =)

  5. Kerrie ~ Thanks!

bigSIS ~ Isn't it sad when we buy the same book twice?!? I've done it, so now I keep a list of all the books I own in my purse. :)

  7. I'm on #12! Woo hoo. I was so sad when I read Curtain. I love Poirot and he should have been immortal. Miss Christie should have just kept him going and going. I find that each book I read, they get better and better and as one reviewer stated, "She has invented more ways of bamboozling the reader than any other living writer." Each story is fresh and you never know which way it will lead you...in fact I'm often so far out in left field that I'm left scratching my head in wonder.

    Happy Reading!

  8. Kerrie ~ Thanks for keeping us posted. I will be revisiting the links before I pick up another Agatha Christie novel. I'm still reading through a short story book now.

  9. bigSIS ~ I like the reviewers quote you shared as well. :) I haven't read enough of Christie to experience that, but I hope to read some more in 2009.

  13. Kerrie ~ I hope those that like to read AC will find their way to the blog. It looks great. :)

I'm going to continue with the book of short stories I began (Miss Marple), but I'm mainly going to read books from my TBR shelves for my challengefree year. I'm looking forward to finally getting to them.
