  3. Well, better late than never. It's still September, so I guess I'm still in on this one! Oh the joys of a good book--oh the pain of staying ahead of the game with reviews that are due!

  9. CONGRATULATIONS to all of you! I'm so glad you were able to finish the challenge and actually enjoy it! Hopefully we'll remember to keep some non-fiction in our reading diet as the year continues.

  10. Actually--when I was making my list in April my choices were a little limited. But as I was making the final decision on my last book I had several to choose from and I wanted to read them all!! I think this challenge has taught me that not all non-fiction is dry and boring (kind of like classics!!) ;) Um, except my classics reading lately has gone seriously downhill!!

  11. Trish ~ First you made me smile, then you made me say, "OH NO!" I'm sorry to hear about the downhill classics. Isn't it a bummer when that happens? I mean that sincerely. I immensely dislike when I want to like books and it just doesn't happen.

  12. Ugh, I just haven't been in the mood lately for classics!! I've got to read them, though...I've only read 1 true classic for the challenge and it's October! Eeeks...what kind of hostess would I be if I failed my own challenge. ;)

  13. I actually finished the last book at the end of August, but didn't provide a link in September, so here it is:

Jennifer Traig. Devil in the Details: Scenes from an Obsessive Girlhood

  14. Trish ~ Hostesses are not required to follow the rules of the challenge - didn't anybody tell you that?!? :)

    Krin ~ I'll add it on! :)
