Mr. Joy and I listened to this on a road trip, and neither of us were all that impressed. He liked it a bit more than I did, but not by much. My mind had a hard time staying tuned in, because the storyline wasn't that interesting. It wasn't bad, but I need more oomph.
Sorry to hear that. We lived in France when I started this series and have really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion ~ I'm hoping E is better. Are you caught up in this series?
DeleteI tried A is for Alibi several years ago (on audio) and wasn't terribly impressed. Never went on to read any others.
ReplyDeleteLes ~ I will probably listen to E is for Evidence because it's already on my iPod, and it's a good in-betweener. :) I rated A through C in the 3s, then D in the 2s -- not a good sign! I probably won't go any farther than E, unless I am really pleased with it and look forward to the next. One never knows!
DeleteI've never listened to these only read the books..left off at L, I think??
ReplyDeleteStaci ~ I'm going to give one more (E) a try, then will make a decision whether I continue or not.
