At the age of 7, Ethan was abducted from his family home. At the age of 16, Ethan returns to his family home, but has a difficult time with the transition.
I listened to this on an airplane and while it kept me somewhat entertained, I thought it was a little on the boring side. I appreciated the authenticity of everybody's feelings towards Ethan's return, and I was curious as to where the story was going and what the ending would be. However, it turned out to not be a surprise, and I would have liked to have known more of Ethan's thoughts and/or what happened next.
I was surprised, but I'm such a no insightful reader! I definitely would like to have known what would happen next!
ReplyDeleteRhapsodyinbooks ~ Set up for a sequel?
DeleteThe premise sounds fascinating - too bad it wasn't executed well.
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion ~ I was hoping it would be as good as it sounded.
DeleteI am hoping to read this, this month! But at the rate Sept. is going it is proving to be a slow reading month...
ReplyDeleteNicola Mansfield ~ I hope you like it more than I did - whenever you get to it.
DeleteLooks like one I can skip. Too bad since the premise looked good.
ReplyDeleteStacybuckeye ~ Yep, good premise, but it could have been executed better. You still may enjoy it.
