TOUCH & GO

Author:  Lisa Gardner
Genre:  Thriller, Tessa Leoni Series #2
Published:  2013
Personal Rating:  2.75/5 (eh +)
Format/Narrator:  Audiobook/
Elisabeth Rodgers
Yearly Count:  11

Justin Denbe, Libby, his wife, and daughter Ashlyn live comfortably in their luxurious Boston townhouse.  Everything looks great from the outside, but they know differently, and so will others when all three are abducted as Justin and Libby come home from a date night.

Touch & Go is the perfect title for this book.  It was absolutely "touch and go" regarding my enjoyment level.  There were so many parts that were simply slow and dull.  It would pick back up, but then back to boring again.  Ultimately, I was disappointed because I really enjoy Gardner's books and was looking forward to this one on my road trip.  I think this is the first one that has not received a high rating from me.  Also, I figured out the plot from the beginning, but that didn't play a role in my dislike for the book.

  1. I've found that she's touch & go for me in enjoyment. Some of her books I have liked while others just didn't pull me in.
