A study of introverts (and by default - extroverts).
There wasn't a lot of earthshaking, surprising revelations in this book; however, it was incredibly interesting, and I enjoyed how it was shared. I did learn a thing or two (minor things) that help in understanding both types of people.
Thoughts of Joy
There are several introverts in my family so I really want to read this. I'm glad to see it's so good.
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion ~ It really was a good read. I was surprised.
DeleteGlad to know this audio is worthwhile. I've been meaning to give it a try since it first came out.
ReplyDeleteLes ~ Definitely worthwhile! :) Kathe Mazur did a great job with it, too.
DeleteI've been meaning to download this one as I keep hearing such wonderful things about it. It's only been recently that I've understood myself better as I learn more about being introverted (now if I could only get Scott to understand!).
ReplyDeleteTrish ~ OH! You have to read this! And then have Scott read it. Or you could read/listen to it together. :) Like I said, there's nothing you probably don't already know, but it's very interesting. I would have NEVER pegged you as an introvert.
DeleteFunny huh? I *can* be very outgoing if I'm comfortable--which is why blogging is great for me-- but I've also started recognizing my blogging breaks as reflections of my introvertedness.
DeleteTrish ~ Stacybuckeye touches on that in her comment below.
DeleteI do want to read this one. Like most people (I think) I fall somewhere close to line between introvert and extrovert. This book looks like a fascinating way of looking at behavior.
ReplyDeleteStacybuckeye ~ Some of the walking "close to the line" is addressed. It is fascinating, but nothing to blow your mind. :)
