I've read numerous books this year that I really haven't enjoyed; however, this is the first one that I am actually putting in the category of DNF. I listened to 2 of 9 CDs and simply couldn't bear another minute. It obviously just wasn't for me, because I was incredibly bored.
Thoughts of Joy
Aw, too bad. Maybe it's better in print.
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion ~ Maybe.
Deleteha! I've got this on request from the library (hard copy) based on all the rave reviews. I can't wait to read it now.
ReplyDeleteRaidergirl3 ~ Hurry and let me know what you think!
DeleteI really liked it! Trying to see how the characters ended up, how they got connected, the back and forth - all was good. I was a tad disappointed at the ending (just wanted more interaction with a few characters)
DeleteRaidergirl3 ~ I'm not surprised. I'm the only one that doesn't like it. :( I just could not get into it. I was bored silly. Maybe another time. Knowing me, that probably won't happen. Oh well. So glad it was a good read for you! :)
DeleteOh dear. I just downloaded it from my library. 😐
ReplyDeleteLes ~ I do not know one other person that has not loved this book. Soooooooo, your chances are very high in loving it, too. :) I hated it. :(
