A MOTHER'S RECKONING

Author:  Sue Klebold

This is Sue Klebold's account of her family and the way in which they have dealt with the tragedy of Columbine.

This was an incredibly sad, yet very articulate reckoning.  Saying my heart goes out to Sue Klebold doesn't accurately convey the depth of my sympathy for her.  She is someone I would like to be my friend -- that's how close I felt towards her after reading her journey.

  1. Hm, I saw this when it first came out and thought it would be too difficult to read. Now I'm wondering if I should look for it.

    1. Bermudaonion ~ You can always set it aside if it becomes too much.

  2. This is a book I would really like to read. I know it will probably be a very emotional book, but I think it's also an important subject. Society is often times too quick to point a finger and I'm interested in this mother's story. I would hate to be in her position, consumed with guilt for her son's actions.

    1. Les ~ I thought she did an excellent job portraying her son, herself and her family. She is a very warm and kindhearted person. The scariest message is that this type of tragedy can happen to any family.
