Or the perfect lie?
This was a very good audioread for me! It had some issues with plausibility, but I pushed those aside. Ultimately, it kept me intrigued, and I didn't want to stop listening (terrific narrator!). Love when that happens!

My thanks go to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for providing me with the eGalley.
Ooooh! Adding this one to my Audible wishlist!!
ReplyDeleteI read this in print and loved it too.
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion ~ Yay! :)
DeleteJust got it from Audible and will start listening today. I'll let you know what I think!
ReplyDeleteLes ~ Oh my goodness. I hope you at least LIKE it! Like I said about another book, I've been so disappointed with my reading choices that anything that keeps my attention is a winner these days! You will have to suspend disbelief, though. Keep that in mind. Happy listening!
DeleteLes ~ Have you started it?
DeleteStarted it on Thursday, but was distracted so I went back and started from the beginning yesterday. So far, so good!
DeleteLes ~ I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :)
DeleteLOVED it!! Just finished it this morning. I may have to post my review out of order since I want everyone (who can tolerate this subject matter) to read it. The audio was outstanding. I held my breath during the last three chapters, expecting the worst! Wow.
DeleteLes ~ I am soooooo happy!!! HOORAY for good books! :)
DeleteLes ~ You might like The Kind Worth Killing. Another 4.25/5 for me.
DeleteOK, I'll add that to my Audible Wishlist. I love psychological thrillers!
DeletePhew. I'm think the last 1/4 of that book wore me out.
It seems everyone has been raving about this one. I'm excited to read it!
ReplyDeleteStacybuckeye ~ Hope you love it! :)
