I liked the general storyline, but didn't find it to be anything special.  6-4-25

My first Zapata book was a success!  It felt more realistic than other romance novels I have read.  I enjoyed that.  It was a slow burn romance with some quirks (Buddy!?!) that I didn't care for, but I was interested in the character's lives.  6-11-25

Sci-fi

I didn't know anything about this book when I picked it up.  It definitely was not what I was expecting.  Once I got past the beginning, I wanted to know how it would end.  6-17-25

Some of this was okay, but it lacked something.  It was slow, and I had a hard time picking it up.  6-19-25

48.  Broken Country (Hall) ~ 3.75/5 (good +), Audiobook, Fiction

This was an emotional read.  I was chasing the answer to WHO? from the beginning.  Ultimately, I enjoyed the writing, but am still sorting out my feelings regarding the conclusion.  6-19-25

Weird and wild.  And ... not for me.  Glad I now know what it's all about, though.  6-21-25

A good addition to my McFadden reads.  This was exactly as expected with its anticipated twists, turns and fast-paced storyline.  6-25-25
