"I" Title-Based A ~ Z Reads

IDA B
Katherine Hannigan
Personal Rating: 3/5

This book now had two things going for it. One, it had been promoted all school year with high recommendations from students, and two, I was in need of an “I” book. The “I” need cinched the deal. Predominantly, self-preservation and trust were the essence of the story. Those themes permit both children and adults alike to explore how we individually relate to the world around us, making it easy to connect with the character Ida B. In general, the book had many great qualities as a “mentor text”, but for my personal enjoyment it was just okay.
