I completed this challenge a week ago and didn't even know it! This was fun finding books that fit the goal.
The Eponymous Challenge Reads:
The Nazi Officer's Wife (Beer)
Morality for Beautiful Girls (Smith)
Pollyanna (Porter)
The Vicious Vet (Beaton)
Favorite:
The Nazi Officer's Wife (Beer)
Least Favorite:
Morality for Beautiful Girls (Smith)
Oh, thank you for reminding me to put The Nazi Officer's Wife on my wish list!
ReplyDeleteMiss Challenge Guru--I am *thinking* of hosting a challenge, and I thought I would ask you for some advice. First, how the heck do you make a button?? :) Is there certain software that you need to use for this? Do you create the picture yourself (for example you have that cute little cartoon button for the NFF). Second, how do I learn more about Mr. Linky? I'd love any advice you can give me--and if it's easier you can email me at tstineman AT hotmail DOT com. And since you're probably wondering--a classics challenge. I know...bleh! ;)
Joy, you are doing so well on your challenges...way to go!
ReplyDeleteTrish ~ I believe I posted on your blog that I would respond via e-mail sometime soon. :) AND...what are trying to do to me? Classics? UGH! You know I won't turn you down, but geez...did it have to be classics?!? You realize that classics are torture, don't you? Please, please, please don't say we can't use audiobooks. I've gotta have a break somehow. :)
ReplyDeleteJ. Kaye ~ Thank you! :) They are all coming along for sure. But today I just added 3 more! LOL
ReplyDeleteI know, I know! I hadn't considered audiobooks, but I'll allow them! I'm also thinking of having one of the books be a book that people think should or will be a classic someday--so that allows a little bit of leeway, right? All these new challenges are getting to be so fancy (such as What's in a Name...what a fun and original idea!), but I wasn't blessed with the creativity gene. :)
ReplyDeleteTrish ~ This is so annoying! I didn't receive an e-mail for this comment. Grrr (I came here to get your e-mail address and saw that you left a comment.)
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about?! You are creative! Just the thought of changing up a "classic challenge" to something more up-to-date (it changes fast around here) is creative in and of itself. :) AND, look at your blog - geez. Don't give me that no creativity gene!
Regarding the, ummm, challenge you're preparing (can't even utter the word) ... I've actually begun to think of a list - UGH! - only for you Trish, only for you! :)
I'm off to prepare an e-mail.
Congrats on finishing the challenge!!
ReplyDeleteAlso Congrats on finishing the Chunkster Challenge!
