Cattery Row is the 2nd in the Theda Krakow Mystery Series following Mew is for Murder, which I did not read. I don't normally read a series out of order, but I decided to give it a try anyway for J. Kaye's Book Blog. It did not turn out as I had hoped. The story line just never grabbed my attention, so I have had to exercise my "50-Page Rule"; therefore, I will not be finishing the book. I like cats, but a reader who is a cat-lover would probably be better off with this one.
The only author I have read in this genre is Dorothy Cannell--I loved The Thin Woman.
ReplyDeleteChain Reader ~ I've read a few in the "cozy mystery" genre this year that I have really enjoyed. It's not my favorite genre to begin with, but I did enjoy them. This one just wasn't for me.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad...it wasn't for me either.
ReplyDeleteJ. Kaye ~ I'm sure there are cat-loving, cozy mystery readers that can appreciate this.
