CATTERY ROW

Cattery Row is the 2nd in the Theda Krakow Mystery Series following Mew is for Murder, which I did not read.  I don't normally read a series out of order, but I decided to give it a try anyway for J. Kaye's Book Blog.  It did not turn out as I had hoped.  The story line just never grabbed my attention, so I have had to exercise my "50-Page Rule"; therefore, I will not be finishing the book.  I like cats, but a reader who is a cat-lover would probably be better off with this one.

Today, I began listening to this book with the plan to switch over to reading it, as soon as I finished my current book. My plan has been aborted; I am abandoning the book. I'm simply not deriving any pleasure from it. Amazon customers (279) rated it an average of 4 stars - if you click on the book image, you can check out what they have to say.

A fellow blogger, 3M from 1morechapter, was so very kind in passing on this book to me, via a giveaway, that I have decided to do the same. If you would like to win this paperback copy (which I believe has only been read once), please leave a comment and I'll post the winner on April 18th. (I'm sorry, but I need to restrict this giveaway to US residents only.)

Unfortunately, due to my vanishing interest, it has become necessary for me to implement my "50-Page Rule". Fortunately, I am still eager to read The Chatham School Affair.
