A father hires a PI to help ward off his daughter's attempt to marry too young and to someone he doesn't approve of.
This was a pretty straightforward story with a few minor shifts in plot that changed people's lives. It was based on a true case.
I need to read more short stories collection but I keep passing them over.
ReplyDeleteStaci ~ I literally just finished another story in this collection, and I liked it more than this one. I'm actually reading 2 collections now, but I'll probably finish this one first because I'm reading it on my iPad (gauranteed night reading) vs the other being a book (always have another book going). I read them in spurts, but I really do love short stories, even though they don't all get high ratings. They are perfect for keeping novels fresh.
