Until they have a car accident and she disappears at the scene, Richard Kilmer and his fiancé Jennifer Ryan are filled with hope for their future. Immediately Richard goes into search mode and discovers that nobody knows of Jen and are confused by his pursuit.
Ohhh this started out so intriguing, but as time went on I knew I was in trouble. There was just too much implausibility for my liking. I kept going more for Richard's sake than my own, because he was a good character. :) I have another standalone in my iTunes stash, but I think I'll wait a bit for that one. My next Rosenfelt should be an adventure with Andy Carpenter. I really enjoy that series.
eh? Not good!
ReplyDeleteStaci ~ Yeah, kind of a bummer.
DeleteI've just started Don't Tell a Soul. It's my first encounter with this author. So far, so good!
ReplyDeleteLes ~ Oh! I have that one, too, but haven't gotten to it yet. Out of soon to be 12 "Andy Carpenter" novels, I've only read 4, but really like him. This was my first standalone and was disappointed, but oh well. Please try Andy at some point. In my opinion, they are not necessarily excellent, but very good, entertaining reads. :)
