A group of MIT math aficionados join ranks to take Las Vegas by storm with their card-counting ways.
This was definitely a good book, but some events didn't quite make sense, and there were a lot of unanswered questions at the end. I'm not convinced that the whole scheme was true, but it was a good fictional read nonetheless.
I kept meaning to read this... but I watched the related movie instead. The concept was quite fascinating though... too bad I'm not good with math :)
ReplyDeleteChrista ~ Oh, I agree!
DeleteI was just thinking wasn't there a movie version when I read Christa's comment. I haven't seen the movie, but I've been wanting to. This sounds like an interesting book. I find the subject matter fascinating. Like Christa, math is not my strong suit--so I would be no good at it!
ReplyDeleteLiterary Feline ~ My husband says I saw the movie, but I don't remember it. ??? I love math, but don't think I could keep a straight face! :)
