ATTACHMENTS

Author:  Rainbow Rowell
Genre:  Chick Lit, Standalone
Published:  2011
Personal Rating:  3.25/5 (just okay +)
Format/Narrator:  Audiobook/Laura Hamilton
Yearly Count:  27

An almost 30-year-old man works at a company in the technology department.  Part of his menial job (his opinion) consists of monitoring emails through a program that flags inappropriate words.  His job allows him to learn about people in the company, particularly two females.

My biggest complaint is that the entire book didn't feel like the intended adult book.  It felt as if the characters were all teenagers.  If it was a YA book, I think I would have liked it more.

  1. I've read 2 of her YA books and loved them both so I want to give this book a try.

  2. I recently read this and enjoyed it more than you. It's definitely geared more for twenty-something-year-olds, but I still like it. A lot. :)

    1. Christa ~ There seems to be very few of us "just okay" ratings. Oh well.

  4. Everyone seems to rave about Rainbow so it's nice to see a more measured reaction!

    1. Stacybuckeye ~ I like Rainbow a lot. Had this been a YA book, I may have seen it through different eyes (thoughts).
