Young Adult Give-Away "Special"

Young Adult Challenge participants that linked a January book on Mister Linky (50) have an opportunity to win Melissa Walker's signed, debut YA novel! Melissa is a new-to-me author and has offered her book to you (and me) , so we can be introduced to Violet together. Violet on the Runway is the first in her Violet series with the second, Violet by Design, to be released on March 4. Congrats to Melissa!

First in a Series Challenge
participants can use this book for that challenge, too! AND, for those of you who are participating in the A ~ Z Reading Challenge, this is a great choice for the hard to find "V" Title. The winner can, ultimately, cover three challenges with this book alone! Now how "special" is that!?!

Melissa Walker has written for national teen magazines and recently fulfilled a life-long dream by appearing as a talking head "expert" on VH1's The Fabulous Life of Celebrity Kids. She has a BA in English from Vassar College.

Check out this interview with Melissa at Teen Book Review.

If you are interested (and qualify), please leave a comment. I'll post the winner on Valentine's Day!

A special thanks goes to Melissa for sharing her work with us here at "Thoughts of Joy...".

  11. That previous comment was mine. My daughter just moved home and I didn't realize she had signed in on my computer. This is going to take some getting used to.

Anyway, put my name in for the drawing and not hers. Thanks.
