FETCHING RAYMOND (2 of 7)

Author: John Grisham
Genre: Short Story Collection
Published: Ford County: Stories, 2009
Personal Rating: 4/5 (very good)
(ss) Yearly Count: 62

The family of death row inmate, Raymond, is traveling to see him for possibly the last time.

I could envision every movement and conversation in this story as being a real-life, unfortunate event. Sadly, this bird's-eye view has probably occurred many times over.

  6. Les ~ I'm fairly certain I'll enjoy this collection as I enjoy his work as a whole. I just need the time to read it. I'm happy to hear that you've heard good things about it.

Danielle ~ Wow! How exciting to open up some time to read. :) I have done the opposite - got a full-time job and have NO time for leisure reading! Here's a link to find a challenge or two: A Novel Challenge

Bybee ~ Happy New Year to you, too! I just post my thoughts to help me remember what the book was about and what I liked or didn't like about it. I'm not trying to be prolific or provide details. Some people love long reviews, so just do what YOU like! :) There's no right or wrong.
