Words are phenomenal, don't you think!?! Their makeup of extraordinary characters create an incredible power. Words can and do change lives.
I love the paths of new thinking that words create in my mind, therefore I read. This blog is a place for me to capture my feelings about the adventures I have taken within the confines of the written word. The following are purely my simple words of pleasure. Or not.
My Personal Rating Scale

I've heard of this one but it's not one that I feel I must read. I think I'm a bit burned out of memoirs.
ReplyDeleteOh sorry about that. I thought the ARC was very good. I need to schedule A Trick of the Light Soon.
ReplyDeleteStaci ~ I'm giving another one a try now. If I can, I mix up my genres, so I don't get too confused. :)
ReplyDeleteDiane ~ I have the ARC, but couldn't get into it, so I tried the audio. I made it a little farther with that. Oh well.
Hmm, I think I have the ARC floating around here somewhere. Wonder if I'll like it.
ReplyDeleteLes ~ Maybe more was to come, but I can't keep listening and/or reading books that don't interest me.
ReplyDeleteLife is too short to read (or listen to) bad books. That is my mantra.
ReplyDeleteVickie ~ That is so very true, but I have a hard time following through. I'm better than I used to be, but on occasion I still relapse.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. I really needto get better about abandoning books that I'm not enjoying.
ReplyDeleteStacybuckeye ~ It really shouldn't be as hard as it is.
ReplyDeleteWell you gave it a good try by listening to 2 cd's good that you just decided to move on!
ReplyDeleteCheryl ~ I think 2 was very fair. I was hoping to get drawn in, but it just didn't happen.
