This is a story about the friendship between two women (and their dogs).
I enjoyed this memoir. It had the perfect balance of life's ups and downs. I sensed that it was a cathartic endeavor for Gail to share her friendship with an audience.
I'm glad that you liked this one. I have marked it to read at some point because I was drawn by the friendship and dogs!
ReplyDeleteStaci ~ When I think back on it, I think I was expecting something a little more deep, but I don't know how an author goes about that. Anyway, I thought it was a good, short memoir.
DeleteI love memoirs and will have to look for this one.
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion ~ It's a quick one.
DeleteI've not heard of this one.
ReplyDeleteStacybuckeye ~ If you like reading about friendships and a bit about dogs, it's worth a read.
DeleteI read this one, too, and gave it a 4/5 rating. I found myself nodding my head in agreement with regard to grief, but never felt completely invested in the story of the friendship.
ReplyDeleteLes ~ I felt like it was good for Gail. So, I suppose I never felt completed invested either.
