A son breaks out of prison to avenge his father's death.
Boo. I was really hoping that this one would knock my socks off. :( It did have some interesting components in its storyline, but I didn't believe it. Everything seemed to run a bit over the top. I do like Nesbo's writing style, though, and I look forward to reading more Harry Hole books.
Thoughts of Joy
I've got to try one of his books!
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion ~ I've got to get back to the H.H. series! :)
DeleteI still need to try something by Nesbo!
ReplyDeleteLes ~ I'm reading them in order, so I've only read The Bat. I thought it was "good," but have heard they get better and better.
DeleteP.S. I just saw that you commented on my comment back to you. :) FYI - I sent you an email the other day.
When I get to Nesbo I'm sticking with the Harry Hole series.
ReplyDeleteStacybuckeye ~ I desperately want to LOVE the HH series. I hope I get there. The first was good, but I want them to be great. Is that too much to ask for? :)
