Words are phenomenal, don't you think!?! Their makeup of extraordinary characters create an incredible power. Words can and do change lives.
I love the paths of new thinking that words create in my mind, therefore I read. This blog is a place for me to capture my feelings about the adventures I have taken within the confines of the written word. The following are purely my simple words of pleasure. Or not.

Hmmm...I'm not sure I know of any Christmas themed books I'm wanting to try. I'll think on this one. ;)
Do you know if you or anyone else are planning a 2008 non-fiction challenge? I have some books I want to read, and I have a hard time getting into Non Fiction, so a challenge could force me to forgo my beloved novels for a bit. ;)
J ~ I definitely will do another Non-Fiction Challenge. It'll probably be May - September again. It seemed to be a great time. I loved it and hope others will come back to do it again.
There's the "In Their Shoes" Challenge if you're interested in reading memoirs, biographies or autobiograhies until then. :)
I just joined this one too. I've been waiting for it. I love to read Christmas books!
ReplyDeleteLynne ~ I'll come see your list.
ReplyDeleteI recently read CHRISTMAS JARS and found it to be a quick read for me. Enjoyed it but I found THE WEDNESDAY LETTERS by him much more enjoyable. :)
ReplyDeleteMad ~ Quick reads are good. :) I may just pick up The Wednesday Letters, too. Thanks for your thoughts.
