This year, I only have 13 books with ratings of 4/5 (very good) and above. There's a new plan on the horizon to boost that number, though. :) These are rated 4.25 or above:
1. The Purity of Vengeance (Adler-Olsen) ~ Thriller
2. Quiet (Cain) ~ Non-Fiction
3. Me Before You (Moyes) ~ Women's Fiction
4. In the Blood (Unger) ~ Psychological Thriller
5. Madison Square Tragedy (Geary) ~ Graphic Novel
6. Chasing Lincoln's Killer (Swanson) ~ YA Historical Fiction
2. Quiet (Cain) ~ Non-Fiction
3. Me Before You (Moyes) ~ Women's Fiction
4. In the Blood (Unger) ~ Psychological Thriller
5. Madison Square Tragedy (Geary) ~ Graphic Novel
6. Chasing Lincoln's Killer (Swanson) ~ YA Historical Fiction
I've only read Me Before You but I really would like to get my hands on Quiet.
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion ~ I think you'd really enjoy it. :)
DeleteMaybe in my effort to read more nonfiction this year, I should make sure to read Quiet. I've wanted to read it since I first heard about it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the other books on your list, but they all sound good.
Literary Feline ~ Yes! Read Quiet. :) I think it's a good thing to try and understand why people behave the way they do. (including myself)
DeleteI haven't read any of these - yet. I'm hoping ot at least get to Me Before You this year. Quiet interests me too.
ReplyDeleteStacybuckeye ~ They are both worthy reads. I look forward to your thoughts. :)
DeleteI've only read Me Before You. I want to read Quiet, but need to be in the right frame of mind for nonfiction.
ReplyDeleteLes ~ I understand. :) It's an interesting book. If you are the quiet type, it validates you and if not, it helps you to understand those that are. The in-betweeners are addressed as well.
