When I look at your ratings sometimes I think I may be too generous!! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteStaci ~ Since I've had a blog, I have seen many different kinds of rating systems, and I know I fall in the category of rating with a bit more caution. It's based on my rating system (the actual numbers) being tougher than most, but it truly fits my thinking. If I close a book and think it was good, I give it a 3.5/5. A good book is a good book! However to most people a 3.5/5 doesn't indicate a good read. Most would give it a 4/5 which looks a lot prettier. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm disappointed with February's average (3.00) and thus my overall average for January and February. I think spending time reading "just okay" books is a waste of my precious time. Hopefully March will pick up. So far, so good. I'm thoroughly engrossed in my current read. I don't want to put it down. I hope it continues until the end!
