Read-Along: A LITTLE LIFE (???)

If you know of a read-along for A Little Life (Yanagihara), please let me know asap!  :)  This is a lengthy book (difficult for me), so I would prefer to read it with someone or a group.  I don't want to lead the read-along, though.  I'd just like to be able to chat with others about it as we move through the book at a planned pace.  Does anybody know or want to lead the Read-Along?!

NEW!!!

I'd like to introduce Nuzzle!
Nuzzle is the mascot for my recently opened Etsy Shop:

Since I learned how to crochet . . . I haven't stopped!  I LOVE it!  It truly has been a joy to make blankets for babies and adults, alike.  In my shop, I have focused on baby blankets in thick, plush, multicolored chenille yarn and a football style blanket that can be made with the same soft, cuddly yarn to match your favorite team!  Every adult and baby that has received one has declared it their favorite blanket!  Check out Pure Joy Crochet, one of my blankets may become a favorite of yours, too!  :)

Question for Jo Nesbo Readers:

I realize that the order in which the Harry Hole Series has been published in the US has been erratic.   What I'd like to know is if reading them out of order is or has been a problem?  The Bat, technically #1 in the series, is being published here in October, and I don't know if I should wait.  What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

Traveling

Yep!  I've been gone for almost a week visiting my oldest daughter in Bogota, Colombia.  I was able to finish listening to Unbroken (Hillenbrand) on the flight down, but other than that - hay lectura para mi (no reading for me).  We (my youngest daughter and I) had a layover in New York City on the way home, so we spent the day literally running up and down streets and avenues, and traveling underground trying to see as much as we could in 9 hours.  It was a fabulous trip all the way around!

Oh!  My personal watch for books, Nooks, Kindles, iPads, etc. in the hands of travelers was somewhat of a disappointment.  I didn't see anybody reading on Nooks and Kindles until the subway in New York, and they tied 3 and 3.  As for books, I only saw a handful of people reading anywhere.  Of the ones I saw, I could only see 2 book titles and both were books I read.  One was Room.  I don't remember the other at the moment.  I did see a Chinese girl reading a Chinese Manga book.  I found it very interesting to watch her read.

I'm now ready to get back into my reading routine.  I have a few loose ends to wrap up (already completed one by posting about Unbroken) and then I can spend some of today reading.  Woo.

I'M SUPPOSED TO BE CLEANING, BUT . . .

I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT AND RESEARCHING THIS:

Oh my.  This morning, the bestest husband ever asked me if I wanted a Kindle for Christmas!  (He wouldn't mind if I chose a different eReader, but that's what he asked.)  Needless to say, my plan of cleaning has been derailed.  I have been absolutely giddy with delight!

I have not thought about getting an eReader because I have an iPad and love, love, love it.  However, we are a gadget family (especially with Apple products) and should not be surprised by Mr. Joy's question - but, I am and I'm loving it!

I have to say that I'm leaning towards the Kindle.  Anyone want to support or convince me otherwise?

Help!

OMG!!!  I am so annoyed.  For the past several weeks, maybe longer, every single time I publish a post - whether in Edit HTML or Compose, my post comes out all jumbled up.  The jumble mainly consists of unwanted spaces.  The greater problem is trying to get rid of them.  You'd think that would be an easy task, but NO!  It takes me forever and a day to remove them.  Is anybody else suffering with this problem?  I have never had any problems with Blogger (over 4 years!), but it's making something so simple into a major chore.  And, I'm extremely frustrated.  I'm going to change providers if this can't be resolved soon.  The problem could certainly be me.  Maybe I have a setting wrong or something, I don't know.  Any suggestions?

Disc Drive Doldrums!

It has been OVER 1 week since I took my computer to the hospital, and I STILL haven't heard when it's coming home. They only had to replace its brain for heaven's sake. How difficult can that be? I have other avenues to access the internet, etc., but I haven't been able to do my digital scrapbooking project or access my resume for a tune-up. These are necessities folks. Necessities, I say.
