Best Reads of 2007

TOTAL BOOKS READ: 128!
(a new personal record)

I was able to enjoy an eclectic group of books this year by participating in numerous challenges. Also by choosing Newbery winners, shorter books (mainly Christmas titles) and listening to more books on my iPod, I was able to boost my total reads to well beyond what I ever thought I could possibly read in a year! It has been spectacular and I hope 2008 will bring me much of the same.

The following 16/128 books were given a personal rating of "4.5 - 5" at the time they were read and are listed in the order in which they were read (bold titles are the best of the best) :

  2. Great year, Joy! 128 books is amazing. I'll be reading The Only Road North in February, and I'm anxious to read it. I put it on my Winter Reading Challenge, too.

    Have a good 2008!

  9. Les ~ I'm really hoping that Odd Hours by Koontz makes the Best of 2008. :)

I had a great reading year in numbers and broadening my reading habits; however, this year I'm focusing on books I really just want to read. And most of them are placed in challenges.
